Suntag & Feuerstein is a full service Stockton
law firm comprised of a unique combination of legal talent.
The principals of the law firm are Abram S. Feuerstein and Dana A.
Suntag.
Mr. Feuerstein practiced the first five years of his legal career
at large law firms in San Francisco. At these firms, Mr. Feuerstein
obtained valuable experience handling mostly large, complex bankruptcy
and litigation matters involving national and multi-national companies.
Mr. Suntag practiced the first nine years of his legal career in Los
Angeles with a national law firm. His practice there focused primarily
on complex litigation matters for large companies, with an emphasis
on Pacific rim and international clients, as well as large California
based companies.
Both Mr. Feuerstein and Mr. Suntag eventually joined the San Francisco
based law firm Feldman, Waldman & Kline in the 1990s. This law
firm, which was founded in 1958, was a unique Bay Area law firm with
an office in Stockton. The two attorneys at the law firm's Stockton
office at the time were Gerald A. Sherwin and Martha Jeanne Shaver,
who are currently of counsel with Suntag & Feuerstein.
Mr. Sherwin is the former County Counsel of San Joaquin County and
a highly experienced trial attorney. Ms. Shaver handles transactional
and corporate matters, with a focus on complex real estate and
financing, as well as estate planning.
Ms. Shaver and Messrs. Sherwin, Feuerstein, and Suntag formed Shaver, Suntag & Feuerstein in 1998.
With the transition of Ms. Shaver to of counsel status in 1999, the
firm changed its name to Suntag & Feuerstein.
In 2002 John M. Reece, an experienced family law lawyer, joined the firm. Mr. Reece brings to the firm over 30 years of experience representing parties in divorce and other family law matters, as well as general business and litigation experience
The lawyers at Suntag & Feuerstein continue their tradition of
representing companies, public entities, and individuals in the areas of business
and commercial litigation, bankruptcy, employment, environmental,
real estate, and estate planning. Most recently, Suntag & Feuerstein
also has added to its specialties the area of mediation and dispute
resolution. The firm's office is located in the historic Kress
Building in downtown Stockton.
